About

In March 2021, Lee Coogle had a bicycle accident that resulted in a serious spinal cord injury. Lee and his wife Linda established the Hopetimist Foundation to help veterans and athletes who have suffered similar injuries participate in adaptive sports. Although he has recovered substantially from his initial injury, Lee realized during his recovery just how important it is to continue participating in athletic activities regardless of physical limitations.

Lee and his family want to help individuals engage in adaptive sports by removing financial roadblocks to participation.
